Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Fairfield by Marriott. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in creating a positive experience for our guests, handling inquiries, and managing reservations efficiently. We are looking for someone 7:00am-3:00pm Friday through Tuesday-with Wednesday and Thursday off. Must be able to work the whole schedule. We use Stay PMS system. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the check-in and check-out processes smoothly and efficiently. Handle guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and reservations. Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations in the hotel management system. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless guest services. Uphold the standards of hospitality management by maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. Experience Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred, particularly in a hotel setting. Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management systems is advantageous. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse guests. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members. A background in hospitality management is a plus, showcasing an understanding of the industry standards.
