Job Description
Summary The Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking a Front Office Agent to join our amazing team. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street. Front Office colleagues are responsible for welcoming guests to our beautiful resort. You'll handle the guest registration process, communication of hotel services and promotions, and luggage service. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other responsibilities will include processing forms of payment, responding to guest inquires, answering hotel calls, assisting guests with luggage service, among other duties. You'll be the face of Hyatt as a Front Office Colleague. Upsell opportunities are available for all Hosts to earn additional commissions. Shifts are 8:30am - 5:00pm or 1:00pm - 9:30pm. Qualifications Previous customer service or hospitality experience (preferred) Friendly, professional demeanor with a guest-first mindset Ability to handle guest concerns calmly and resolve issues effectively Team-oriented attitude with willingness to support other departments Comfortable interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds Basic computer skills (email, reservations systems, POS) Refined verbal and written communication skills Ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to lift light items (e.g., luggage assistance when needed) Flexible full time availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
