Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable experience for every guest, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring smooth internal operations. Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs Inspect rooms and common areas, and enforce rules Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Cross-train night audit Work night audit upon request Cross-train other departments including breakfast and laundry Assist managers with daily duties Support your team Work to ensure every stay is a GREAT stay!
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused with a passion for providing exceptional service. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Organizational skills. Desire to learn and grow. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, ability to work holidays, nights and weekends. Computer proficiency and experience with hotel management software is a plus. Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
