Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in creating a positive experience for our guests, handling inquiries, and managing reservations efficiently. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction are essential. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist guests with reservations, modifications, and cancellations as needed. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining high levels of guest relations. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Maintain the front desk area in an organized and welcoming manner. Requirements Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and relations. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. A professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the standards of our establishment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
