Reservationist Position Overview:

We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented Reservationist to join our team at a high-end dining establishment. This role is the first point of contact for many of our guests and plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and experienced in managing a high volume of reservations and guest requests with efficiency and grace.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all reservations through OpenTable, ensuring accuracy and optimal table allocation Handle a high volume of incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests Accommodate special requests, VIP guests, and last-minute changes with discretion and attention to detail Maintain up-to-date guest profiles, preferences, and notes in the reservation system Communicate effectively with management, hosts, and floor staff to ensure seamless service flow Monitor dining room pacing and reservation timing to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction Uphold the restaurant's standards of excellence in all guest interactions

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a reservationist or host in a high-volume, upscale or fine dining environment Proficiency with OpenTable (required) Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Keen attention to detail and guest preferences Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Availability needs to be during the day 9-5 or 11-7
