Now, they'll have another exciting option - a tropical paradise in Panama City Beach. Sprawling more than 13 acres on nearly 600 feet of gorgeous beachfront in Panama City Beach, the new Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort is currently and ready for the 2024 season with our outdoor resort pool. We are still building 42 custom vacation homes as well as our clubhouse with food and beverage venues, and upscale amenities, our direct beach access to transport guests and owners into the Margaritaville state of mind. We are looking for a fun, pleasant and friendly Front Desk Team member to join our team! As a Front Desk Representative, you will be responsible for taking all incoming calls and reservations. This role will be extremely important for improving guests' experience and satisfaction. Your goal should always be to make our guests feel comfortable and satisfied during their stay. Duties and Responsibilities Keep front desk clean, tidy and supplied with all the necessary supplies Greet, communicate with and welcome guests coming to the front desk while directing office traffic Interact with a homeowner either over the phone or through email who may have questions about a reservation, statement, or other concerns. Answering any questions guests might have about the reservation process. Answer all the guests' questions regarding the property and amenities. Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities any special events. Answer all incoming calls including reservation calls. Making reservations for guests based on their various requirements. Checking availability for guest dates of interest Providing support to guests who may need to amend or cancel a reservation. Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations. Processes guest requests by faxing, mailing, or emailing activity information. Prepare welcome packages to include wristbands, parking passes and all additional Margaritaville Perks for all incoming guests. Prepare and manage outgoing mail. Check, sort and forward emails to ensure all reservation email requests and questions are answered. Monitor and update guests' profiles and payments. Processing payments and providing confirmation details to guests. Help plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest. Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing guests of additional services or special packages, such as rental services, travel insurance and resort restaurant and bars. Resolve and assist guest with any complaints or concerns. Communicate with Housekeeping or maintenance as needed.Qualifications:
Proficiency in INFOR, SynXis, Dormakaba/Ambiance, Outlook, and OneDrive. Knowledge of computer software Knowledge of Airbnb, VRBO, and other online travel agencies such as expedia,booking etc. Must be able to communicate with others and comprehend verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required, with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, while building strong positive relationships. May require sitting in front of, and operating, a computer/phone for extended periods but not limited to only sitting. Requires light lifting and carrying.Job Type:
