Job Description

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent guest service by greeting guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and responding to guest requests efficiently and professionally. This role serves as the first point of contact for hotel guests and helps create a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries Process payments and maintain accurate billing records Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status and guest requests Resolve guest complaints and escalate issues when necessary Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer and reservation system knowledge Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Skills Customer service Communication Problem-solving Attention to detail Time management Cash handling and payment processing Working Conditions Standing for extended periods Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays Interaction with guests and hotel staff throughout the day
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
