Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Greets and welcomes guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assists guests with ticket purchases, membership inquiries, and general information
  • Handles guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provides accurate information about attraction rules, safety guidelines, and operational hours.
  • Operates and monitors various attractions, ensuring they run smoothly and safely.
  • Conducts pre-opening checks to ensure all attractions are in proper working order.
  • Ensures guests adhere to safety rules and guidelines while using attractions.
  • Assists with loading and unloading guests from attractions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Processes ticket sales, memberships, and other transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  • Promotes and upsells attractions, memberships, and special promotions to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
  • Handles cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely and in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the guest services area and attractions.
  • Reports any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department promptly.
  • Ensures all equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use.
  • Works collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
  • Assists in training new team members and sharing best practices.
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes ideas for improving guest experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Participates in regular safety training and drills.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of emergency procedures and be prepared to act accordingly.
  • Assists with the setup and execution of special events, parties, and group activities.
  • Provides support to guests during events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of guests.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a variety of guest needs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the venue's programming, events, and entertainment offerings, as well as general knowledge of art, culture, or recreation.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns or issues in a calm, positive, and professional manner.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in dynamic, high-energy environments.
  • Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system experience.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the venue's event schedule.
