We're looking for a hospitality-driven, polished, and proactive team member to support both guest experience and housekeeping operations — someone who believes a perfectly made bed matters as much as a perfectly poured cocktail. About the Role This is a hands-on, dynamic role that blends front desk operations, serving, beverage service, and room care. You'll move between the lobby, the dining room, the bar, and the guest rooms — ensuring every touchpoint of the guest journey feels elevated and seamless. It's a part-time position with weekend availability required (at least one Saturday or Sunday shift per weekend, based on operational needs). What You'll Own Guest Experience & Service Welcome every guest at the front desk — check-ins, check-outs, and the warm first impression that sets the tone for their entire stay Be the first point of contact for guest questions, requests, and recommendations — from dinner reservations to hiking trails to the best local coffee Provide attentive, polished service during breakfast and dinner at Wit & Wisdom Operate The Welcome Bar — crafting coffee drinks, cocktails, and wine pours with care Anticipate guest needs and respond with urgency and warmth Deliver memorable, personalized guest interactions from arrival to farewell Handle phone inquiries, reservation questions, and on-property guest communication with grace Housekeeping & Property Care Clean and reset guest rooms to MTL's boutique, five-star presentation standard Maintain pristine common areas, restrooms, and service spaces Assist with laundry, linens, and inventory organization Ensure every guest space reflects our attention to detail Team Support Jump in wherever needed with a whatever it takes mindset Support light operational tasks across the property Who You Are Experienced in hospitality, housekeeping, or service-based roles (boutique or upscale preferred) Detail-oriented — you take pride in creating clean, beautiful spaces Warm, confident, and genuinely guest-focused Comfortable balancing front-of-house service with hands-on housekeeping Dependable and physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and stay active throughout shifts Available for weekend shifts (at least one Saturday or Sunday each weekend) This Role Is For You If You enjoy both interacting with guests and working behind the scenes to create an exceptional environment You believe a perfectly made bed matters as much as a perfectly poured cocktail You thrive in intimate, high-touch hospitality environments You take pride in excellence, consistency, and teamwork This Role Is Not For You If You'd prefer to focus on only service or only housekeeping — not both You're looking for a Monday-through-Friday role A fast pace and physical work aren't a fit for where you are right now You're looking for a stepping stone rather than a craft to invest in Our Core Principles At The Mountain Top Lodge, we live by these guiding values: Addicted to Excellence — Excellence is the baseline.
