In person About the Role At Quality Inn Oakwood, our front desk team is the heart of the guest experience — and we're looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-minded individual to join us. As a Front Desk Agent, you'll be the first and last face our guests see, setting the tone for every stay. If you take pride in making people feel welcome and can keep your cool when things get busy, we'd love to meet you. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet and check in arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure a smooth, efficient check-out process Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally; assist with inquiries and booking requests Take same-day and future reservations; process cancellations and modifications per hotel policy Know room types, rates, availability, and daily hotel activities to assist guests and upsell when appropriate Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status, early check-ins, late check-outs, and special requests Handle guest concerns and complaints with patience, professionalism, and a solutions-first attitude; escalate to management when needed Process payments, balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, and prepare accurate shift-end deposits Maintain guest privacy and uphold a high standard of personal appearance and professional conduct Perform night audit duties as needed (reconcile daily transactions, run end-of-day reports) Complete additional duties as assigned by management Requirements High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) Prior customer service experience (any industry considered) Comfortable with basic computer use and data entry Ability to stand for extended periods during shift Flexible availability — must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of hotel or hospitality front desk experience Familiarity with a Property Management System (PMS) such as Choice Advantage, Opera, or similar Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling (full-time and part-time shifts available) Exclusive hotel brand travel discounts across the country A supportive team environment with room to grow within the property Schedule 8-hour shifts Morning, evening, and weekend availability required Monday-Sunday (rotating schedule) How to Apply Ready to join our team?
