AM Job Location:
Wahiawa The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all guests at the front desk in accordance with hotel standards Answer guest inquiries: hotel services, hours of operation, local restaurants, transportation, entertainment etc Manage the logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages Follow all cash handling and credit policies Maintain knowledge of all rates, packages, promotions, in-house groups and restricted dates Handle room reservations, check-in and checkout efficiently and courteously Operate all relevant aspects of the front desk computer system Complete all shift checklist tasks Balance individual paperwork for shift closing and maintain a clean work area Assist guests with safe deposit boxes and maintain two-way radio etiquette
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required (college coursework in a related field is helpful) Experience in a hotel or customer service field preferred Required computer experience and ability to stand for the duration of a shift Ability to perform light work (exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally) Strong communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills Availability to work flexible and long hours as required by hotel needs Commitment to maintaining high standards of personal appearance and professional conduct
