In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest inquiries, and maintaining a warm, professional atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and hospitality expertise will help foster guest satisfaction and loyalty, making every stay enjoyable and stress-free. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a dynamic environment. Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience, empathy, and proactive solutions. Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest information while ensuring data privacy. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared to high standards. Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight. Promote hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences and encourage repeat visits. Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Knowledge of hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette. Ability to handle night audit procedures confidently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality excellence and positive guest interactions. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, including guest services, hotel management practices, and resort operations.
