Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Part-Time Hotel Front Desk Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable first impressions for our guests. In this vital role, you'll be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining a warm, professional atmosphere. Your multitasking skills and hospitality expertise will help deliver an outstanding experience that keeps guests returning time and again. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those passionate about hospitality management and guest relations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving. Check guests in and out efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as Fosse or similar hotel management software. Manage multiple-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests with professionalism and clarity. Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences. Handle guest concerns promptly, following hotel emergency procedures when necessary to ensure safety and satisfaction. Assist with reservation management, including modifications and cancellations via hospitality reservation systems. Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing information, and special requests to support seamless operations. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and efficiently. Support night audit procedures by reconciling accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy. Uphold the highest standards of guest relations by demonstrating hospitality best practices across all interactions. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem-solving capabilities. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond confidently during critical situations. Excellent communication skills, including phone communication, multi-line phone handling, and client interaction. Previous experience with night audit processes is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Resort experience or familiarity with guest services in luxury settings is advantageous but not required.
