Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team at the Goldmoor Inn as a Server or Hotel Front Desk Attendant, where you will be the welcoming face and efficient coordinator for our guests. This dynamic role combines exceptional customer service with operational excellence, ensuring every guest experience is memorable and seamless. You will handle front desk responsibilities, manage guest inquiries, and support restaurant service operations, all while maintaining a lively and professional atmosphere. Your energy and attention to detail will be vital in creating a positive environment that encourages guest loyalty and satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage hotel check-in and check-out processes using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Handle reservations efficiently through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and guest preferences are met. Respond promptly to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems, offering exceptional phone etiquette and problem-solving solutions. Coordinate with restaurant staff to deliver timely and attentive food and beverage service to hotel guests. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns, providing local information, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff. Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, reservations, and incident reports to support smooth operations. Support night audit activities when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, with familiarity using property management systems like OPERA or equivalent. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Previous hotel experience, especially in resort environments or high-volume settings, is preferred. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and hospitality best practices. Excellent phone communication skills with a focus on multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette. Ability to problem-solve quickly while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems, PMS software, and hotel management tools such as Property Management Systems (PMS). Multitasking capabilities with attention to detail in busy environments; experience with night audit processes is a plus.
