DAILY DUTIES
(DETAILED & OPERATIONAL)
Front Desk & Guest Services :
Warmly greet guests and manage check‑ins, check‑outs, and room assignments Strong communication skills During your shift, you must support every department to maintain smooth operations. Housekeeping, laundry, café, pool safety & Security and other Handle reservations, cancellations, and online/phone inquiries Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, urgency, and ownership Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness Verify cleanliness and quality of rooms and public areas Process payments accurately (cash, card, deposits, folios) Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming lobby, pool area, café, and parking lot and Guest Room Hotel Operations Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards Read and understand daily hotel reports (ADR, occupancy, revenue, night audit summaries) Assist with QA preparation and brand compliance Complete operational checklists without skipping steps Walk the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards Support renovation, reopening, and improvement projects as needed Maintain smooth daily operations with minimal supervision Partner effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management Sales & Revenue Generation Maximize revenue per room through upselling and rate awareness Support group and event sales from inquiry to coordination Maintain relationships with corporate clients and long‑term accounts Assist with preparing and interpreting sales reports Engage with local businesses, contractors, and community partners Participate in public‑facing sales initiatives to increase visibility Promote hotel amenities and encourage repeat stays Leadership & Assistant Manager Support Act as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts Train, mentor, and support new hires Provide ongoing coaching to front desk staff Assist with staff scheduling and shift coverage Review daily reports and complete administrative tasks Resolve operational challenges and enforce hotel policies Demonstrate strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills Provide feedback to improve service, operations, and team performance ⭐ About the Role We are NOT hiring "clerks."
