Job Description:
Greet patrons in a helpful and enthusiastic manner while being the first point of contact. Providing a high level of customer service. Registering individuals in programs and processing payments. Answer questions and be knowledgeable about all programs, events, and memberships. Answer phone calls proficiently and professionally. Ensure a neat and clean appearance of the lobby and front desk area. All other duties as assigned. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
General knowledge of office procedures:
phone skills, multitask and how to use Microsoft Windows. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to maintain professional work-related practices - safety, alertness, dependability, responsibility, initiative, courteousness, good judgment, cleanliness, and ability to work with all ages. Previous experience in cash handling or ability to demonstrate related skills set. JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
