You will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for welcoming them, managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and ensuring a great guest experience. This is a guest-facing role, so strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. A key focus of this role is closing sales—whether through reservations or upselling. If you have a background in sales, we strongly encourage you to apply. We value individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who want to grow in the hospitality industry. The starting pay for this role is $11 but if you show sales potential, we can discuss commissions on top of your hourly salary. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accurate guest accounts. Handle guest inquiries and provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions -- including places to eat, distance to downtown, and popular events occuring throughout the area. Process reservations and cancellations using hotel management software. Maintain a well-organized workspace, including folding laundry or bed sheets, which may comprise 25-40% of the role. Assist with night audit duties during night shifts, ensuring financial accuracy. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally. Operate phone systems to manage calls and messages. Support overall hotel operations and guest experience. Requirements Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
