Front Desk/Pickleball Monitor

TapNPaddles is seeking a Front Desk/Pickleball Staff Member. The objective of this role is to (i) attend to the front desk and all check in procedures, (ii) facilitate help and finalize sales transactions to guests interested in pro shop items, (iii) transfer knowledge and assist guests with questions about the facility, especially focused on memberships and (iv) assist management with other duties as needed in day to day functions. Ideal candidates will have measurable experience in hospitality, pickleball, retail, and a customer first focus at all times. Compensation for this role will be an hourly wage paid weekly. Greeting guests as the first point of contact within the facility Checking guests in and out using CourtReserve software Transitioning court reservations and cleaning court seating areas Monitoring court reservations and assisting court servers as needed Assisting guests interested in pro shop items Knowledge of paddles to best assist guests in choosing their product Completing transactions using CourtReserve and Toast technology Transferring knowledge about the facility and membership opportunities Assist guests in signing up for membership and navigating the TapNPaddles website Assist serving staff by creating open tabs for new guests entering the facility Keep the entrance lobby, check in desk, and pro shop areas clean and free of debris Assist management staff with other duties as needed Excellent work ethic Ability to exceed established goals Exceptional listening, learning, and creative skills Evidence of self-motivation, combined with team-orientation Experience using reservation and restaurant systems software a plus
