Front Desk AgentOverview We are seeking a dynamic and personable Front Desk Agent to serve as the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations with enthusiasm, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for guests, visitors, clients, and team members alike. Your energy and organizational skills will help create a positive first impression and support the efficient functioning of our hotel. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service, administrative, and hospitality skills while contributing to a welcoming and professional team environment. Duties Greet guests and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and assistance. Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls accurately and professionally. Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, payments, and general questions. Manage reservations and guest information using hotel property management systems. Perform data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate records. Handle clerical duties such as filing, proofreading, and basic word processing as needed. Assist with office and front desk management tasks, including supply inventory, mail distribution, and basic troubleshooting. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area. Address guest requests and concerns professionally and work to provide appropriate solutions. Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards consistently. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations. Skills & Qualifications Strong computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and spreadsheets. Experience with hotel front desk operations or customer service is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling reservations, payments, and guest information. Demonstrated ability to provide friendly, professional, and dependable customer service. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
