Front desk Clerk at Public Tennis Facility (Beaver and Thomas Park) Acadiana Serves Lafayette, LA Job Details Part-time $12 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Team leadership High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Organizational skills Productivity software Time management Full Job Description We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and friendly individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk at our tennis facilities Beaver Park and Thomas Park. This role involves managing day-to-day front desk operations—including facility opening/closing, court bookings, and payments—as well as supporting administrative and marketing functions such as billing, social media, website updates, and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties:
Open and close the facility according to established procedures Greet members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner Manage court reservations and program registrations using our booking software Handle payments, refunds, and basic accounting tasks Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk and lobby area String tennis rackets
Administrative Duties:
Process billing and invoicing Update and maintain the facility website with current information and schedules Manage social media accounts and assist with marketing efforts Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Provide general administrative support to the management team Create flyers
Qualifications:
Must be available to work afternoons Mon- Thurs 3:30pm -8:30pm, every other Sunday 8am-12pm and some mornings 8am-12pm. High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred Prior customer service or front desk experience is a plus Familiarity with website management tools and social media platforms is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and multitask in a dynamic environment
Preferred Skills:
Basic graphic design or Canva experience is a plus
Result Statement:
This position is accountable for producing the following result: The Front Desk Clerk ensures the efficient operation of the tennis facility and office by managing administrative processes, optimizing workflow, and supporting staff to enhance productivity. Success is measured by improved operational efficiency, employee satisfaction, cost management, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Standards:
All work will be performed according to company policies and standards, in the spirit of the company's Vision. All work will be orchestrated and quantified when appropriate. All proprietary company information will be held as strictly confidential outside the company. Immediate manager will be notified of any issues that cannot be resolved, or deadlines that cannot be met, within a reasonable time frame, and before the deadline has arrived.
