Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient check-in and check-out services using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Manage hotel reservations with attention to detail, utilizing hospitality reservation systems to accommodate guest requests and preferences Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while assisting callers with inquiries or booking requests Provide comprehensive guest services, including answering questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions to enhance guest satisfaction Handle guest complaints or issues promptly by applying customer service problem-solving skills, ensuring a positive resolution that fosters guest loyalty Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and special requests while adhering to hotel emergency procedures for safety and security Support night audit processes by reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or equivalent hospitality reservation software Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices to ensure safety and satisfaction Excellent phone communication skills, including multi-line phone system operation and phone etiquette Ability to handle customer service issues with professionalism, patience, and problem-solving acumen Previous experience in night audit procedures or resort settings is a plus Multilingual capabilities are considered an asset to serve diverse guest populations effectively Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests through energetic service and dedicated hospitality!
