The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services, room availability, and rates. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that rooms are ready for incoming guests. Provide local area information to guests, including dining options, attractions, and transportation services. Process payments and maintain cash drawers accurately. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; College course work in related field helpful. Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Strong understanding of hospitality management principles and practices. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with guests. Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment. Proficiency in hotel management software is advantageous but not required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
