Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest service and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications through the hotel management system. Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities. Conduct night audits by reviewing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in billing. Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times. Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Operate phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and messages. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy. Skills Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred. Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Proficient phone etiquette for effective communication with guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel management software is an advantage. Experience with night audit processes is beneficial but not required; training will be provided. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for enhancing guest interactions. Background in hospitality management is a plus, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of the industry.
