Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel management and guest relations is highly valued, along with multilingual abilities to assist diverse guests. The Front Desk Clerk plays a vital role in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining the overall reputation of our resort or hotel. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain accurate guest records and reservations using hotel management software Process payments and manage billing transactions accurately Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure clear communication at all times Assist with night audit procedures as needed to ensure financial accuracy Support guest relations initiatives to enhance overall guest experience Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous Experience in resort or hotel environments, especially in guest relations or night audit roles, is a plus Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and professional demeanor at all times This position offers an engaging opportunity within the hospitality industry for individuals dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
