In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. During night shifts, you will also oversee the overnight audit procedures, balancing hotel accounts and ensuring operational accuracy. Your personal skills and hospitality expertise will help foster guest relations, uphold hotel management standards, and ensure smooth property operations through efficient use of property management systems like Auto Clerk. Duties Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing outstanding customer service and assistance with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage reservations using hotel property management systems (PMS), including Auto Clerk, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Handle guest inquiries via phone communication with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and problem-solving skills. Conduct night audit procedures by balancing daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts to ensure financial accuracy. Respond promptly to guest needs and resolve issues with a positive attitude, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Enforce hotel emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed during incidents or emergencies. Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, property activities, and incident reports to support operational transparency and accountability. Collaborate with team members across departments to deliver consistent guest services and uphold high standards of hospitality management. Experience Proven experience in front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting, preferably with night audit responsibilities, but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations strategies, and hospitality management principles. Demonstrated ability to handle customer service problem-solving scenarios efficiently and professionally. Previous resort experience is a plus, especially in roles involving guest services or night audit functions. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail throughout your shift.
