Job Description

Front Desk Duties:
McDowell Healing Arts Center is a compassionate and client-centered mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals seeking support. We are looking for a warm, organized, and detail-oriented individual to be the first point of contact for our clients and to assist with intake coordination for new patients.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet clients in a professional, welcoming manner Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries with empathy and efficiency Schedule and confirm appointments for therapists Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
Intake Coordination:
Assist new clients with intake paperwork and ensure all forms are completed accurately Verify insurance information and discuss basic billing inquiries Enter client information into the electronic health record system (EHR) Coordinate initial appointments with appropriate therapists based on client needs
Administrative Support:
Manage client records with confidentiality and professionalism Assist with billing and insurance verification as needed Provide general office support to therapists and staff
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical, mental health, or customer service setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality Compassionate, friendly, and professional demeanor •Hours & Shift - We are looking to hire one person. This will mostly be a day shift but there may be very limited times where you may have to work a mid shift. A rotation of 1 Saturday a month may be a possibility also.
