Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a blend of hospitality management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently. A passion for guest relations and a commitment to creating memorable experiences is essential. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, utilizing multi-line phone systems for reservations and inquiries. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, ensuring timely resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and record-keeping. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests in a timely manner. Maintain front desk operations by managing cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations; experience in hospitality is highly desirable. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems effectively. Knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding guest services are essential for success in this role.
