Candlewood Suites by IHG, Mankato is an extended-stay hotel offering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. As a Night Auditor, you will provide exceptional overnight service while balancing the day's financial transactions to support smooth hotel operations.

Job Summary:

The Night Auditor oversees front desk responsibilities during the overnight shift and performs end-of-day accounting procedures. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys quiet, focused work, can work independently, and is committed to guest satisfaction and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours Perform nightly audit of hotel transactions and balance all daily reports Run and distribute daily reports for management and departments Process guest payments, adjustments, and folios accurately Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism Monitor property safety and security; perform regular property walks Ensure lobby and front desk areas are clean, quiet, and welcoming Communicate with day shift team about any special guest or maintenance issues Follow IHG brand standards, safety protocols, and cash handling policies

Qualifications:

Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred; night audit experience a plus Strong math and computer skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours Reliable, professional, and self-motivated Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus
