People who care enough to go the extra mile to give our guests a great experience. This position is 11:00pm to 7:00am for 2 nights per week. The Hampton Inn Rochester South is located on South Broadway, two miles south of downtown Rochester. Our focus service hotel is looking for Night Audit Representative to join our busy and professional team. Ideally, you'll have some prior experience in a hotel environment (not required) and be able to demonstrate initiative and be someone who has the reputation for delivering great service and being fun to work with. Night Audit Representative performs the various functions of hotel reception including; registration, guest accounting, telephone and concierge services to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests. Additionally, Guest Service Representatives contribute to the overall safety and security of the hotel by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergency situations. Essential Job Functions Attending to guest registration, room assignments, and special requests Take, modify, and update room reservations Accurately record and process guest charges, credits, and payments Protect and securely handle all guest information Assist and respond to all guest inquires in person, phone, or email as appropriate Find the win-win in resolving guest concerns or complaints Deliver the Brand and Company promises General Qualifications & Requirements Must have a professional, warm, and approachable disposition Fluently read, write, and speak English Demonstrated ability to remain level-headed in hectic and tense situations Problem solving and basic reasoning skills are required Must have mathematical ability and mental alertness Work Environment & Other Job is performed at a hotel reception desk. Communications skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. Job requires the use of standard office equipment including computers, telephones, and photocopiers Frequent physical movement within the front office area of the hotel. Occasionally position oneself to stock supplies and attend to equipment located in lower cabinets and server rooms.
