Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Overnight Front Desk Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will set the tone for our guests' memorable stay. In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel during nighttime hours, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a secure environment. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a warm, safe, and inviting atmosphere for all visitors and team members alike. Overnight desk is also responsible for cooking and starting the breakfast buffet and maintaining it for roughly an hour before your shift ends. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, check them in efficiently, and address their needs with a friendly, professional attitude Manage multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, handling inquiries and reservations with clarity and confidence Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions accurately and prepare reports for management review Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of common areas, and ensuring guest safety throughout the hotel premises Assist guests with late-night requests such as room changes, wake-up calls, or additional amenities to enhance their stay Handle guest relations issues promptly and diplomatically to resolve concerns and ensure satisfaction Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest or facility issues that arise during overnight hours Cooking skills. Mostly just oven based cooking. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably in a resort or similar environment Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive interactions Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Not required but we do get Spanish speaking guests quite often. Familiarity with hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems is preferred Knowledge of night audit procedures, guest relations, and security protocols within a hospitality setting Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally at all times Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high attention to detail and safety standards
