Training begins immediately for our brand-new Atwell Suites by IHG , opening in September in Liberty, MO. This is a great opportunity to help launch a new hotel, build a strong team culture, and grow your hospitality career from day one. Job Summary At Atwell Suites by IHG, we're looking for friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Front Desk Agents to create exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll provide a warm welcome, ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs, answer questions, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and inviting hotel environment. We are currently hiring for morning, evening, and overnight coverage , including weekends and holidays. Essential Job Duties Welcome guests with a professional and friendly attitude. Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently. Process reservations, room changes, cancellations, and guest requests. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries. Handle cash and credit card transactions. Promote IHG One Rewards membership and hotel amenities. Resolve guest concerns promptly while maintaining exceptional customer service. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel's property management system. Follow all IHG brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures. Assist with general front desk responsibilities and administrative tasks. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and public areas by emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and completing light cleaning tasks as needed. Overnight associates will perform night audit procedures, reconcile daily transactions, prepare reports, assist with property security, and complete assigned cleaning and preparation tasks for the next business day. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using computers and learning hotel management software. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Must be able to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light housekeeping duties, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. What We're Looking For Positive attitude and professional appearance.
