Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Office Clerk! Your energy and excellent customer service skills will ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, assist with guest inquiries, and handle various front desk operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing efficient check-in and check-out services using property management systems such as OPERA or similar hotel management software Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude to ensure guest satisfaction Manage reservations and room assignments accurately through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring optimal occupancy and guest preferences are met Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions, update reports, and ensure accurate record-keeping for all front desk activities Maintain clear communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs promptly and uphold safety procedures Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently, including responding to incidents or safety concerns during overnight hours Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, or directions as needed Experience Previous experience in front desk operations within a hotel environment is highly preferred Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or equivalent platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve effectively and communicate clearly in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices Experience working night shifts in resort or hotel settings enhances your suitability for this role Demonstrated ability to handle phone communication professionally while maintaining excellent guest relations Previous resort experience or working in a high-volume hospitality environment is advantageous Embark on an energetic journey with us where your enthusiasm makes every guest's stay memorable!
