Job Description
Job Overview 16 to 24 hours or as needed. Mostly second shift Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Manage reservations efficiently through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and offering local recommendations Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, practicing excellent phone etiquette and clear communication Maintain guest relations by responding to special requests, managing complaints, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times Support night audit functions when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred, with familiarity in hotel management systems like OPERA or Property Management Systems (PMS) Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively Strong customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest services standards Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone communication and client interaction Previous resort experience or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
