Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional front desk experience. Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using property management systems (PMS). Handle reservations, cancellations, modifications, and special requests with attention to detail. Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with excellent phone etiquette, assisting callers with inquiries or directing them appropriately. Address questions, resolve issues, and offer local information. Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and room assignments while adhering to hotel emergency procedures for safety and security. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Support night audit processes when required, reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports for management. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or similar service oriented position preferred; hotel experience is highly valued. Strong customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset to address guest concerns proactively. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), experience with PEP or HotelKey is highly preferable. Excellent phone communication skills coupled with multi-line phone system proficiency and phone etiquette expertise. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices to ensure safety and satisfaction. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude. Office management or administrative experience is advantageous.
