Job Overview Join our hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Agent / Guest Service Representative at Days Inn Reidsville. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced hotel environment and takes pride in providing excellent guest service. In this role, you will be the face of the hotel, responsible for welcoming guests, handling reservations, supporting daily front desk operations, and ensuring every guest has a smooth and comfortable stay. You will also coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to keep operations running efficiently. We are open to individuals with or without hotel experience. Paid training on our Property Management System (PMS) and all front desk procedures will be provided.

6:00 AM
- 2:00 PM (Morning Shift) 2:00 PM
- 10:00 PM (Evening Shift) 10:00 PM
- 6:00 AM (Night Audit Shift) Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Duties Welcome guests warmly and provide a smooth, friendly check-in and check-out experience. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel systems. Answer phone calls in a professional manner and assist guests with inquiries and booking needs. Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a calm and professional manner. Process payments, cash handling, and maintain accurate shift records. Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area. Assist with daily reports, administrative tasks, and shift handovers. Perform Night Audit duties during overnight shifts, including balancing reports and closing the business day. Follow all hotel policies and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic computer knowledge (training on PMS will be provided). Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment. Professional phone etiquette. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Cash handling experience is a plus but not required. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required. Training & Development We believe in setting our team up for success. Paid training will be provided , including hands-on instruction in: Hotel Property Management System (PMS) Front desk operations and guest service procedures Reservation management Cash handling and payment processing Night audit procedures Hotel brand standards and communication practices No prior hotel experience is required — we will train the right candidate. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs when needed. Ability to work morning, evening, and overnight shifts as scheduled.
