Guest Service Representative Position Title:

Guest Service Representative Job Summary:
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests by handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately. Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Maintain accurate guest records and process payments. Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and special requests. Follow cash handling, credit card, and security procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer skills and experience with hotel management systems preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and answering phones.
