Guest Service Representative Job Summary:
Join our welcoming team at Home2 Suites / Tru by Hilton as a Front Desk Agent! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. You will help create a positive guest experience by answering questions, resolving concerns, and assisting with daily hotel operations. This position is primarily a mid-shift role. Scheduled hours will vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs and may include daytime and evening hours. Flexibility with scheduling is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately. Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Maintain accurate guest records and process payments. Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and special requests. Follow cash handling, credit card, and security procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer skills and experience with hotel management systems preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and answering phones.
