Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional service that creates memorable experiences. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, including booking modifications and cancellations. Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining compliance with hotel policies and emergency procedures. Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly with effective customer service problem-solving skills. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs swiftly and effectively. Maintain multi-line phone systems and manage front desk operations during shifts, including night audit procedures when applicable. Assist in managing guest relations to foster loyalty and ensure repeat business through personalized service. Support emergency protocols by understanding hotel safety procedures and assisting guests during incidents or evacuations. Utilize multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests from various cultural backgrounds. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting. Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Excellent communication skills, including bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse clientele. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest services best practices. Experience in night audit processes and handling multi-line phone systems is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
