Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, creating a welcoming environment while efficiently managing front desk operations. Your energetic approach and excellent organizational skills will ensure smooth daily operations, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management skills in a fast-paced, professional setting. Responsibilities Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly. Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, directing calls accurately and courteously. Handle all front desk duties including managing room reservations via phone, email and in person requests. Handle billing, post charges, and process payments (cash, credit, or digital) Utilize computer skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office management software to organize information efficiently. Support clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and maintaining office supplies inventory. Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally while maintaining proper phone etiquette. Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Balance cash drawers and complete shift reports Address guest concerns, complaints, or special requests promptly and professionally. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve issues quickly. Communicate effectively with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, sales) Provide information about room avaliability, rates and promotions Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards Ensure guest privacy and data security Qualifications Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs better. Knowledge of front desk procedures, clerical tasks, and customer service best practices. Strong communication skills with a professional phone etiquette and attention to detail in proofreading and documentation.
