The award-winning AAA 4-Diamond Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa is looking for a Hotel Front Desk/Night Auditor to join the Hotel Guest Services Team! Situated within the 3,600-acre Lake Las Vegas master-planned resort community, Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa is a Mediterranean-inspired resort just 20 miles from the Las Vegas strip, ideal retreat for guests who are looking for both the excitement and proximity to the Las Vegas strip and a tranquil place they can escape to and relax. It is an idea venue for upscale corporate and association meetings and conferences, as well as wedding and social events. In this role as Front Desk/Night Auditor, you serve as a Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor for our hotel and guests. The ideal candidate will be Guest Service driven, have strong Front Desk and Accounting skills and previous hotel guest service and audit experience. What will you be doing? As a Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor, you would be responsible for Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements. To perform the night audit processing successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

• Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: All hotel features/services, hours of operation. Room types, numbers, layout. Room rates, special packages and promotions. Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures. Room availability status for any given day. Scheduled daily group activities.
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, Always keep bank secure.
• Meet with supervisor to review daily assignments and priorities.
• Meet with departing Front Desk Agent to review business status and follow up items.
• Access all function of computer system according to established procedures and standards.
• Promote positive guest relations to all individuals approaching the Front Desk.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping. What You Bring Ability to pleasantly communicate with proper grammar in English.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• One year experience in both Front Desk and Night Audit position in hospitality industry.
• Strong Accounting principles processes.
