Job Description

The Hotel Front Desk Clerk is responsible for delivering outstanding guest service while managing all front desk operations. This role is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive hotel experience from arrival to departure. Varied Shift M-S We are seeking a highly dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our Hotel Operations team as a Front Desk Clerk. The ideal Front Desk Clerk is reliable, detail-oriented, and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive hotel experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Perform guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests
  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries
  • Process payments, authorize credit cards, and balance cash drawers
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly or escalate when needed
  • Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management regarding room status and guest needs
  • Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system (PMS)
  • Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards
  • Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and presentable
  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (Opera, Opera Cloud, etc.) a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
A minimum of six (6) months experience working in this or a related field preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to speak, read and understand written instructions in English required.
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
AGE and
CERTIFICATIONS
Those 21 years of age and older must have the ability to obtain a valid TAM Card (Alcohol Awareness Card).
