Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team at a hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during the night shift. Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, handling reservations and cancellations
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously
- Assist guests with inquiries about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest requests and concerns efficiently and escalate issues as needed
- Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports
- Ensure the security of the premises by monitoring surveillance cameras and performing security checks Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Strong communication skills with fluency in multiple languages being a plus
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and procedures
- Ability to work night shifts independently with attention to detail
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Familiarity with night audit processes is advantageous
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries effectively
