Role:

Quality Inn & Suites of Plattsburgh is looking for friendly and motivated Hotel Front Desk Clerks to join our team in Plattsburgh, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of our hotel, creating memorable first impressions and delivering outstanding guest experiences every day. We are seeking a full time Overnight Front Desk Clerk, shifts are from 11:00PM to 7:00AM. We are also seeking a part time 2nd Shift Front Desk Clerk, shifts are from 3:00PM to 11:00PM.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional check-in experience Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately using hotel property management systems (PMS) Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications via phone, email, and in person Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction Provide local area information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel PMS software is a plus Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented demeanor
