The estate also features multiple event venues and it's award winning private events and wedding program runs a busy season of events. Unique domestic and international guests are attracted to the estate, prioritizing an elevated and memorable experience.Position:
Guest Services/Front Desk Guest services employees are responsible for providing front desk services to guests, undertaking various administrative duties, and most importantly booking reservations and selling services both in person, on the phone, and through computer programs. The best Guest Service Representatives will have tremendous patience when dealing with guests and accommodate their every need with enthusiasm and poise. When the guest services employee is on duty, they are the manager on duty at the desk and have the responsibility of conducting themselves as such.Guest Service/Front Desk Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
- Administering check-ins and check-outs.
- Providing front desk services to guests.
- Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties.
- Delivering mail and messages.
- Processing guest payments.
- Coordinating with management and housekeeping teams.
- Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice.
- Booking restaurant reservations as well as other general and unique requests.
- Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests.
Guest Service/Front Desk Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
