Job description:
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Associate to oversee the daily operations of our front desk at a premier hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for hospitality. As the Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive outstanding service while managing the front desk team effectively. Responsibilities Supervise and train other staff to ensure high standards of customer service and hospitality are met. Manage daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest inquiries. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction. Oversee the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide guests with relevant information. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Monitor phone systems and ensure efficient communication within the team and with guests. Contact leadership when you have questions or need assistance. Monitor emails and the guest messaging systems so that you can fix complaints quickly and efficently. Requirements Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality management role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
