Job Description
Taps & Tails Dog Bar | Cleveland, OH Hospitality + Dogs + Variety Taps & Tails is looking for a dependable, outgoing, and proactive Guest Experience Associate to join our team. This is not a traditional bartender position . It's a cross-trained hospitality role where you'll help create a great experience for both people and dogs across our dog park, bar, events, and daily operations . If you like working with people, enjoy being around dogs, and want a job where you're trusted to notice what needs to be done and take action , you may be a great fit. Prior bartending experience is not required . Our bar program is straightforward, and we'll train the right person. What You'll Do Depending on the shift, you may: Welcome guests and create a friendly first impression Check in dogs and customers and explain how Taps & Tails works Build relationships with our regular customers Serve beer, cocktails, and other beverages Learn our bar systems and responsible alcohol-service procedures Help supervise the dog park and maintain a safe environment Interact with and safely handle dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels Support events and weekend activities Answer customer questions and resolve basic guest-service issues Keep the bar, dog park, and guest areas clean and organized Restock, clean, reset, and complete operational tasks during slower periods Help teammates and jump between responsibilities as business needs change Take ownership of the guest experience rather than waiting to be told what to do If you enjoy variety, teamwork, learning new skills, helping coworkers, and being part of a growing business, you may love it here. You should also be comfortable working in a busy, sometimes loud environment with barking dogs, moving between indoor and outdoor areas, standing for most of your shift, and performing cleaning and physical tasks as part of the job.
