Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a professional and courteous Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role is responsible for the front desk, guest relations, and overall hotel operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the front desk and ensure that all guests have a positive experience during their stay. Greet guests and respond to their inquiries, concerns, or requests. Check-in and check-out guests, handle room assignments, and resolve any issues that may arise. Handle guest service calls and provide assistance to guests via phone. Utilize hotel management and hospitality management software to maintain accurate records and manage hotel operations. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all necessary supplies are stocked. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that guests receive excellent service. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and ensure that all guests are treated with respect and professionalism. Provide assistance with guest services, including concierge services and hotel amenities. Handle lost and found items and assist guests with any issues that may arise. Stay up-to-date on hotel events, services, and promotions to ensure that guests are aware of the latest offerings. Maintain a high level of proficiency with phone systems, including answering calls and directing guests to the appropriate departments. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and ensure that all guests are treated with respect and professionalism.
Skills:
Strong background in customer service and hospitality management. Proficiency with hotel management and hospitality management software. Ability to speak multiple languages, including English and any additional languages. Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for all guests. Experience working in a front desk or guest services role is preferred. Knowledge of hotel operations and services is an asset. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
