Job Description
We are looking for flexible team members to fill a our roles of Night Auditor and Front Desk Agent. The schedule for these position includes:
Night Auditor:
At least 2 nights per week , with shift hours from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM .Front Desk Agent:
At least 2 days per week, primarily scheduled for the afternoon/evening shift, typically from 3:00 PM to 1030 PM . With the occasional morning shift from: 7:30 to 3:00PM Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform the front desk night audit to record financial transactions from the front desk reservation software in the accounting software.
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests or transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints, providing exceptional customer service
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Experience:
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is an advantage
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in multiple languages being a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and reservations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of proper phone etiquette and the ability to handle high call volumes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve guest issues promptly and efficiently
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a genuine desire to assist guests
