Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our hotel, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both in English and in other languages, and be knowledgeable about hotel operations. This is an entry-level position, and the right candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the hotel management team. This is a second shift position.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests upon arrival and check them in efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage guest reservations, including handling cancellations and modifications.
  • Handle guest inquiries and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process payments and handle room keys, as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Perform night audit duties, including balancing the front desk cash register and reviewing the day's sales and inventory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure seamless service.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the hotel management team.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hotel management systems and phone systems is a plus.
  • Multilingual skills are a significant advantage, with fluency in more than one language.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and management practices.
  • Proficiency with phone systems and front desk software.
  • Ability to perform night audit duties and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Experience with guest services and relations.
  • Fluency in more than one language, including English.
