Part-Time Salon Front Desk / Guest Services Blondie & Co. Salon | Kent, Ohio $16-$19/hour based on experience Afternoon/Evening & Saturday Availability Required Blondie & Co. Salon is looking for an outgoing, dependable and customer-focused person to join our Front Desk / Guest Services Team. Our salon is a busy, fast-paced environment, so we're looking for someone who loves working with people, can confidently multitask and enjoys being part of a team. This is a part-time position primarily covering afternoon and evening hours until 7:30 PM, as well as Saturdays until 4:30.

What You'll Do:

As part of our Front Desk team, you'll help create a great experience for our guests while keeping the salon running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Warmly greeting and checking in guests Answering phones and responding to guest questions Scheduling and managing appointments Communicating with guests by phone and text Checking guests out and processing payments Assisting guests with rebooking future appointments Managing cancellations and helping fill appointment openings Keeping the reception and retail areas clean, organized and welcoming Supporting our stylists and salon team throughout the day

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who: Has previous customer service experience Is outgoing, friendly and comfortable talking with people Can work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment Has excellent multitasking skills Is organized and pays attention to details Takes initiative Is dependable and punctual Communicates professionally in person, over the phone and through text Is comfortable learning scheduling and point-of-sale software Enjoys working as part of a team Can stay calm and positive when several things are happening at once Previous salon experience is not required. Experience in retail, hospitality, restaurants, medical offices or other customer-facing environments is welcome.

Schedule:

This position requires availability for: Afternoon and evening shifts until 7:30 PM, Saturdays shift until 4:30 Please consider these schedule requirements before applying.
